COMMON QUESTIONS
How long is mental health awareness training for managers?
Three hours, in person or virtually.
What is REACT?
The framework we teach managers for responding when they think someone may be struggling - a structured way to move from noticing something to having a useful conversation.
Do managers need prior training?
No. This is the foundation session. Managers who have completed it usually progress to Managing Mental Illness at Work, which covers legal duties, adjustments and return to work.
How many people can attend?
Up to 16 delegates, kept small so the discussion works.
Is the content difficult?
We discuss depression, suicide and gambling. Attendees are told in advance, nothing is compulsory to share, and anyone can step out at any point.
How much does it cost?
GBP 1,500 + VAT per session for up to 16 delegates. As a non-profit social enterprise, our surplus funds free mental health support across the hospitality industry.
