COMMON QUESTIONS
How long is burnout training?
Two hours, delivered virtually by a business psychologist.
What are the nine emotional needs?
The Human Givens framework holds that we are all born with essential physical and psychological needs. Meeting them well and in balance builds resilience against setbacks; leaving them unmet is what drives emotional distress and, over time, burnout.
What is the difference between burnout and stress?
Stress is usually a response to specific pressure and eases when the pressure does. Burnout is what accumulates when that never happens - exhaustion, detachment and a drop in what you feel able to achieve.
Why is it delivered virtually?
It is led by a business psychologist and works well online, which also makes it easier to bring managers together across sites.
How many people can attend?
Up to 20 delegates.
How much does it cost?
GBP 1,500 + VAT per session for up to 20 delegates. As a non-profit social enterprise, our surplus funds free mental health support across the hospitality industry.
