There are criteria which must be met in order to become part of our Ambassador Scheme, so please take a moment to read the document below before submitting your final application.
THE FOUR PILLARS OF THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME
Our Ambassador Programme is built around four key pillars that help shape how you can create impact with The Burnt Chef Project.
You don’t need to do everything at once. Every ambassador brings different strengths, experiences and connections. These pillars are here to help you find the areas where your voice, passion and energy can make the biggest difference.
EDUCATION
Share knowledge, lived experience and practical tools through talks, workshops, and conversations with colleges, businesses and community groups.
FUNDRAISING
Support the vital fundraising that keeps our services free and accessible, from events and challenges to raffles and local campaigns.
COMMERCIAL
Use your connections to help build partnerships with businesses, venues, suppliers and networks who can support our mission.
INFLUENCING
Use your voice, platform and network to share campaigns, challenge stigma and keep mental health visible in hospitality.
BADGE SYSTEM & RECOGNITION
We recognise and celebrate the impact ambassadors make. Badges highlight your contribution across key areas. As you contribute and grow, you can progress through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels within each pillar. Recognition isn’t about status — it’s about celebrating effort, consistency and community impact. Each year, we also celebrate outstanding ambassadors at the Hospitality Mental Health Hero Awards.

BRONZE

Deliver 1–2 talks per year on topics linked to mental health, sustainability, or your hospitality journey.

Level up by continuing to speak for two years, increasing your reach and confidence.

SILVER

Deliver 3–5 talks a year at schools, colleges, events, or within your business.

Level up by broadening your audience and consistency over three years.

GOLD

Deliver 6+ talks per year, representing TBCP at high-profile events or in leadership forums.

Maintain gold by continuing to grow your influence and inspire others through your story.
