THE BURNT CHEF PROJECT: Mental Health Champion AWARD 2021

PROJECT (2).png

The search is officially on…

This year has been incredible to see so many people doing great things for their hospitality communities. In a time where we’ve been stretched beyond what we thought possible, we’ve seen some people really step up in their commitment to strive for a happier healthier and more sustainable hospitality industry.

We want to celebrate those people who are actively seeking change and who have taken time to educate themselves to support others with their mental health and wellbeing. That’s why we’re so pleased to announce the launch of our Mental Health Champion Award!

We want you to nominate your Mental Health Champion.

We’re looking for someone who takes action to raise awareness of mental health and challenge stigma within the hospitality sector. Perhaps your Champion has taken training or has signposted you to services to help you and your mental health.

Maybe you’ve seen them support someone else with their mental health difficulties.

Perhaps they act as a pillar of strength within your team?

Maybe they have taken direct action to make changes within your place of work?

Whatever your reasons for nominating them, fill in the form below to tell us why they are your Champion and why they should win this award.

The winner will receive a money can't buy experience at the iconic Swinton Park Hotel. The Swinton Park Hotel sits at the heart of the 20,000 acre Swinton Estate on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire. You will be invited to attend a reception hosted by the owners of the Swinton Estate, the Earl and Countess of Swinton, dinner in Samuel’s Restaurant, bed & breakfast at Swinton Park and full access to the Country Club & Spa for two people on Friday 21st of January 2022.

The winner will also receive a trophy to highlight their dedication along with a Burnt Chef wellbeing pack and tshirt.

Thank you so much to Swinton Estate for this incredible gift to our community as part of their Year of Giving 21st anniversary celebrations.

All nominations should be received by midday on Friday 26th November with the winner being announced on Wednesday 1st December.
